Details:
Service sort and filter for columns in Study manager
- Implemented service sort and filters for selected columns in Study manager.
- Sorting is implemented on the following columns
- Patient name and DOB
- Referring physician
- Technician
- Report prepared by
- Interpreting physician
- Scored by
- Finalized date
- Filtering is implemented on the following columns
- Study type
- Facility
- STAT
- Applied filters can be reset by clicking “Reset filter” at the top.
Capture 3% and 4%, AHI and ODI values in a single WatchPAT report.
- Itamar released a feature to capture 3% and 4% AHI and ODI values after the analysis.
- If the scoring rule is set as 3%, the report will have AHI 3% and ODI 3% indices for REM, NREM, and all night. AHI 4% and ODI 4% will be there for all night only.
- Somnoware will be capturing these values in our database and physicians can use it in the narrative report.
- If the analysis is done using 4%, the report will include 4% values only.
- The Supported versions of WatchPAT Device Interface- Version 5.1.77.7 and above.
Capture the monitoring device info (Modem or Card) from Airview
- Somnoware released a feature where the monitoring device info is captured from Airview via the API. This information is captured when completing a PAP setup and when receiving the notification from Airview (if the PAP setup was done outside Somnoware).
- We tag the patient with the identifiers PAP-Modem or PAP-No modem. The patient tag/identifier will be visible on all the list pages and in the patient profile.
- PAP-No Modem patients can be excluded from the low usage rules in Care Management. This tag can be added to the exclusion list for the low usage rules so that the system will not send automated SMS to the patients.
- Note: Somnoware will pull this information (Modem or Card) for the historic patients (existing patients).
- After the data is downloaded from the card to Airview, users can perform the ‘Sync now’ action in Somnoware to sync the data from Airview to Somnoware.
Showing Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score in the patient profile and a data point to capture that in the interpretation report.
- Somnoware automatically calculates the total score for some questionnaires like ESS, ISI, STOP, etc. Now, we have added a field in the patient profile (Clinical Information Section) to show the ISI score.
- Also, we added a data point, Insomia Severity Index, to populate this value in the interpretation reports.
Dropship: Timeline sync between the source and dropship facilities
- Implemented the timeline sync between the source and dropship facilities. The actions performed at the dropship facility for a particular patient will be synched to the source facility and vice versa.
- This helps providing insights regarding the actions performed at the dropship facility like device check-out, check-in, etc.
Retaining completed questionnaires on a reschedule or appointment type change
- There was a known issue in Somnoware that has been resolved. If a patient completed a questionnaire and a reschedule or appointment type change happened after that, the completed questionnaire were reoved from the patient chart. The patient will have to complete the same questionnaire again as part of the new appointment.
- This issue is now resolved. We will be retaining the completed questionnaires for appointment-type changes and rescheduled appointments.
- However, we will be assigning the same questionnaire again, but the patient can ignore it. In the next phase, we will add logic not to resend the completed questionnaires.
Physician preference module
- Somnoware released the physician preference module where the Physicians can edit their interpretation report templates.
- Preference module can be accessed from the PSM list page and the Interpretation page.
- Physician preference has 3 tabs: Parameters, Default report builder, and Custom builder.
- The header part has a filter to select study types. Also, Physicians can switch between Adult and Pediatric templates for each study types.
- The first tab is the Parameters section where the threshold can be saved for each study types. The Impression section in the interpretation report uses this logic to display the values.
- Each parameter is shown in an accordion where it can be expanded or collapsed. The accordion has a toggle bar, if enabled it will be shown in the report. If disabled, the report will not show that value.
- The next tab is the default Report builder. It has different report sections on the left side of the page like Demographics, Clinical information, Sleep study techniques, Sleep architecture, Respiratory parameters, Impressions, Diagnosis, Recommendations, etc.
- These sections can be enabled or disabled at the top. If disabled, it will not be shown in the report.
- Data points can be accessed from here to build the report templates. The data points will be replaced with the study values when the report is generated.
- Narrative report templates can be built in these sections using the data points. These templates are used for generating the interpretation reports.
- Impression, Diagnosis, and Recommendation sections display data calculations and statements based on saved logic.
- Diagnosis displayed in the report is based on the thresholds saved in the Diagnosis section of preferences.
- Impression section shows data based on the thresholds saved in the parameters section. Physicians can also add custom impression statements.
The recommendation section also has logic that can be saved and based on the saved logic, the data is pulled into the report.
Physicians can also enable Custom report builder, if required. Custom report builder has just one in-line editor. Data points can be accessed from here to build the template.

Add Invoice location field in the patient profile for tracking Internal Invoices
- Add a new field (Invoice location) in patient profile under clinical information section.
- Invoice location can be added against a facility from the database.
- Invoice location field will be captured in billing module and can be exported too.
Export Patient List added to cancellation call list from scheduler.
- All patients added to the cancellation call list can be tracked and exported to management reports for daily scheduling tasks.
- Cancellation call list patient can be exported from Study reports -> Schedule Log HST/ Schedule Log AST.
Add Referred facility name in study log export for Dropship locations.
- A new field which captures Referred facility name has been added to the study log.
Changes in quick checkout from patient profile
- All the existing open appointments of the patient will be listed while performing the quick checkout from the patient profile.
- This is very similar to checking out the device from the scheduler.
- This ensures there are no duplicates schedules created for the patient.
