August 2023 Release Notes

New features released in Somnoware in addition to the continuous optimization of existing capabilities and performance improvements:

Key Features

• PFT Data Mapping Changes for Puget Sound.
• Professional Charges Progress Note for Cerner PFT.
• Study date should be the date the study was recorded in the device.

PFT Data Mapping Changes for Puget Sound

1. Changes were made to properly map FRCpleth from MGC so that automatic interpretation logic and discrete data tabular utilized proper values.
   • Within MGC machine, FRCpleth was sent in data as TGV instead of FRCpleth, so mapping was changed to utilize TGV for FRCpleth.
2. Fixes were made to the automatic interpretation logic to properly calculate bronchodilator response.
3. Added the Challenge Data value to Somnoware Data Mapping for MGC Methacholine Challenge value.

Professional Charges Progress Note for Cerner PFT

• User can now open and select CPT codes for professional charges in the Cerner PFT workflow.
• Open PFT Diagnostics in Physician Study Manager.

• Open a Pending Interpretation Report.

• Interpret and sign pending interpretation report.

• Fill out progress note with appropriate professional charges.

• After completing the progress note, it will be finalized, signed, and sent to Cerner.
• The user will be brought back to the PFT interpretation study list and the report will be finalized.

Study date should be the date the study got recorded in the device

• Added a new column in PSM: 'Returned date'.
• This is the date on which a device is given back to the clinic by the patient after conducting the study.
