New features released in Somnoware in addition to the continuous optimization of existing capabilities and performance improvements:

Details

Extended the date range for the Physician Study Manager to 1 year

• To utilize the extended date range, simply access the Physician Study Manager interface and adjust the date selection settings accordingly as shown below.

          Follow these steps:

1. 1. Go to Physician Study Manager
   2. Click on the column display button next to date picker.
   3. In the ‘Customize Display’ window, scroll down to ‘Date Range’ section.
   4. Select ‘Custom’ radio button, enter the desired number of days (up to 365 days), and click Apply.

• The updated functionality will be automatically applied, allowing you to work seamlessly with a 1-year span of study data.

Questionnaire list page in the facility configuration.

• Somnoware has successfully implemented the "Questionnaire List" page within the facility configuration section.
• The purpose of this page is to provide a comprehensive list of all the questionnaires that have been created and configured for that particular facility. To access this list, users can navigate to Facility Settings -> Patient Communication -> Questionnaires.

• As part of our phased approach, Phase 1 focuses on showcasing the existing questionnaires, making it easier for users to view and manage their current questionnaires effectively. In Phase 2, we will introduce exciting new features, granting users the ability to edit existing questionnaires as well as create entirely new questionnaires tailored to their specific needs.

Cleveland VA requested to have the last 4 digits of the veteran's SSN to be included in the Sleep Study Report

Evaluation form for Scorers and Technologists.

We are excited to introduce the Evaluation Form feature, designed to facilitate feedback and performance assessment for Technologists and Scorers. This feature allows Physicians to rate and provide feedback on sleep studies conducted by Technologists and Scorers. Here's how it works:

• In the interpretation module, Physicians can access a form displaying the names of the Technologists and Scorers involved in a specific sleep study. Physicians can add comments about the sleep study and rate the performance using star ratings.

• Once the Physician submits the rating and feedback, the form is sent to the Lab Manager for review. Lab Manager users can find the pending forms under their "My Profile" section.

           

• Lab Managers have access to the pending forms, allowing them to review the comments and ratings provided by the Physician. They can then approve the evaluation, add their comments if desired, or discard the evaluation if necessary, moving it to the Discarded bucket.

 

• Upon approval by the Lab Manager, the form is moved to the Pending Review status. Technologists and Scorers can access the approved evaluations when they log in to the application.
• Technologists and Scorers can read the Physician's and Lab Manager's comments and choose to accept the evaluation or send it back for further review. Acceptance moves the evaluation to the Completed bucket, while sending it for review returns it to the Manager Review status.
• The system generates monthly reports that can be filtered based on specific Scorers and Technologists along with their respective ratings. These reports provide valuable insights for performance improvement and recognition.

                 

 

Displaying the orders in Somnoware

• This feature is specifically designed for customers who utilize the HL7 interface with their Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• With the new update, Somnoware offers the functionality to save orders received from the EMR directly into the patient's chart. These orders will be visible under the "Appointments and Orders" section.

• Each order will have two crucial identifiers associated with it: the External Order ID (EMR Order ID) and the Encounter ID (EMR Schedule ID). The link between the order and the respective sleep study will be established through the Encounter ID.
• Upon completing the sleep study, the results are automatically transmitted to the EMR. However, if there are any errors or discrepancies in the Order ID or Encounter ID, the results will not be successfully saved in the EMR. To address this issue, we have implemented an option to rectify and associate the correct order with the study.
• Users can easily perform this action by selecting the "View Order Details" option available in the Studies section. This option can be accessed from various places, including the Patient Chart, Study Manager, and Physician Study Manager.

• By choosing the appropriate order and assigning it to the corresponding study, the system will automatically resend the results to the EMR, ensuring accurate and updated records.

• This feature will significantly enhance the integration between Somnoware and customers' EMR systems, streamlining the process of managing orders and study results seamlessly.

Fax Intake Module - Revert Completed Fax to Inbox

• In Fax intake module, added option to revert a completed fax back into the inbox for future actions.
• Select option from a fax that is in the completed bucket to access option to revert.

Manage Studies - STAT Indicator Column

• In Manage studies, brought an option to mark a study as STAT

 

 

Option to view Device History

• In HST Scheduler, click on the 'Devices' button.
• In the secondary action of devices, new option added to view the history of devices.

 

• On clicking 'View History' , a popup appears with all the details of the device.

 

Physician Manager - Study Type Filter - ALL HST or ALL AST Studies option

• Added 2 more study type based filters in PSM
• User can now filter ‘All HST' or 'All AST’ studies.

 

Add Total Record Time and Total time in Bed in discrete data report

• Users can generate Discrete study data report from Study reports in Reports module.

 

Option to reset pin for PATONE device from source location

• Have added an option to reset PATONE device pin from source location for check out done via dropship location.
• Users can click on the secondary options button from a PATONE schedule from source location.
• User would need to click on Reset Device counter option to reset the pin.

                           

 

Productivity report updated with the new data set (Schedule Log AST and Schedule Log HST)

•  Added the user who created the schedule and the date stamp of when the patient was scheduled (Scheduled by & created at) to these reports.
•  Added referring physicians to both report export.

Add referring facility to waitlist export

 We have added referring facility to waitlist export from the HST scheduler.
