- Last Month: Retrieve consult information from the entire previous month for a monthly overview.
- Last 3 Months: Access consult data spanning the last three months for a more extended historical perspective.
- Last 6 Months: Extend the timeframe to the last six months for a comprehensive half-year overview.
- 1 Year: Retrieve consult data from the past year to analyze long-term trends and patterns.
- Custom Date Range Selection: For ultimate flexibility, users can choose a custom date range to precisely define the timeframe they want to explore.
How to Use:

- Click on the Consult dropdown.
JWT token expiry notification
If, for any reason, Somnoware encounters difficulty connecting with CPRS, you will now receive a notification
Notification Message:
"SOMNOWARE NOTICE: Unable to Connect with CPRS"
To restore seamless connectivity, follow these steps:
- Logout from Somnoware.
- Sign back in to Somnoware.
Enhanced Procedure Code Management for Interpretation Action
This enhancement specifically addresses concerns related to Procedure Codes during the Interpretation action.
To streamline and safeguard the coding process, we have implemented a default association of Procedure Codes to study types during the Interpretation action. The starting "default" associations are as follows:
- HST Diagnostic Individual/Group: 95806
- HST PAT Individual/Group: 95800
- AST NPSG: 95810
- AST CPAP/BIPAP/ASV: 95811
- AST Split Night CPAP/BIPAP: 95811
- AST MSLT/MWT: 95805 User Flexibility: If a user chooses to modify the Procedure Code during interpretation, the system will now save their preferences. This means that the changed code will be associated with that specific study type for future interpretations, offering a personalized and flexible approach.
Set up PAP progress note - Additional Spacing requested
Implemented improvements to ensure that notes sent to CPRS from Fargo are well-formatted, enhancing the overall presentation of information.
Changes in the DME Rx form
In this release, we have introduced significant enhancements to the DME Rx form to offer a more versatile and user-friendly experience. The key updates are as follows:
- We understand that therapy needs can vary widely among patients. To better cater to these diverse needs, we have implemented several new therapy modes. These modes provide healthcare providers with a broader range of options to select from when configuring their treatment plans.
- Upon selecting "Generate Order" from the patient profile, an Rx pop-up will be opened. In this pop-up, users can conveniently choose the therapy mode that best suits the patient's condition. The interface is designed to be intuitive, making it easy for healthcare providers to select the appropriate therapy mode.
- Implemented new therapy modes include:
- iVAPS (Intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support): This mode provides adaptive pressure support that adjusts to the patient's unique respiratory needs, ensuring optimal therapy delivery.
- iVAPS Auto EPAP (Auto Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure): This mode combines the intelligence of iVAPS with an auto-adjusting EPAP to enhance patient comfort and therapy efficacy.
- Auto ASV (Auto Adaptive Servo-Ventilation): Auto ASV offers automated adjustments of inspiratory and expiratory pressures to address complex sleep apnea conditions.
- Auto Bi-level: This mode allows for automatic changes in pressure settings during therapy, optimizing treatment for patients with varying needs.
- In addition to the introduction of new therapy modes, we have fine-tuned the device settings to align with each therapy mode's specific requirements. This ensures that the device is configured optimally for the selected therapy mode.
Option to configure Physician pool
We have introduced a new feature in the user interface (UI) to enable the configuration of the Physician pool. Here's how to access and use this feature:
- Accessing Physician Pool Configuration: To begin, navigate to the configuration page. Choose the relevant Organization (Region) and click on the "Physician Pool" tab.
- Creating a New Pool: Users can create a new pool by selecting "Create New Pool." After creating a pool, give it a name to identify it.
- Adding Physicians to the Pool: To populate the pool, add physicians by selecting "Add Physician." This allows you to associate physicians with the created pool, making it easier to manage and organize medical personnel.
- Deleting a Pool: If needed, there is also an option to delete a pool. This feature provides flexibility in managing and adjusting physician pools.
System communication feature: Setting up internal communication
We have introduced a new feature that allows you to establish internal communication within your organization, enabling the system to send email notifications to Somnoware users at specific trigger points. Here's how to set up this system-generated email communication:
- Accessing System Communication: To get started, go to the configuration page. Select the relevant Organization (Region) and click on the "System Communication" tab.
- Configuring Communication Mode: On the "System Communication" page, users can activate the communication mode. You have three communication modes to choose from:
- Email Alerts
- Fax
- Secure Email
If you enable "Email Alerts," you can then configure the trigger points for email notifications. This allows you to define when users should be alerted. Some examples of trigger points include "On Scoring Complete" and "On Ready to Interpret."
3. Adding Recipients: The next step is to designate the users who should receive these alerts. Once you've added the required users, save the settings to apply them.
4. Fax and secure email: When you activate the "Fax" or "Secure Email" communication modes, users gain the capability to transmit patient documents and sleep study reports to referring doctors, DME companies, or patients. This functionality streamlines the process of sharing vital information with the relevant parties, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of your communication channels.
